PostForum: FOR BEGINNERS: What is it? Where is it from?   Posted: Jun 15, 2023 09:22   Subject: Re: Mexico Fluorite on Sphalerite Locale?
I think Elmwood is correct. I found a couple of examples online that have the small calcite crystals of the same habit, although not the same dense coverage in places as this one.

Purchased this Fluorite today at a "crystal" shop and labeled as Fluorite with Calcite and locale given as Mexico. Inquired if they had any better location information or could narrow it dow ...

I've been reading the responses (thank you) and thinking about this, and I now vaguely recall noting that it was from Italy when I purchased it.

PostForum: FOR BEGINNERS: What is it? Where is it from?   Posted: Mar 10, 2023 22:06   Subject: adularia locale?
I purchased this adularia with some chlorite coating years ago. It has been stored away and I have lost any location information. Don't even remember where I purchased it.

The longest dimension is ...
