I know, I know, Tucson Show is really far but as I already received the banner of the Arizona Mineral & Fossil Show, let me start the thread of Tucson 2014, publish the AMFS banner and (maybe) keep this thread in peace until January 2014 announce the arrival of the World's Largest Festival of Mineralogy

Yes, I think most of the dealers have been moved to the City Center (InnSuites).

Alfredo - if you mean "theme" rather than "these" it is diamonds.

Alfredo...it is our 60th Annual Show, so we are featuring Diamonds, Gold and Platinum ...and for those who can't play to that...Greatest hits of the first 60 years

Coinciding with the (one more ;-) arrival to the 100.000 reads of one of the Gail's threads and its corresponding yellow star: 2013 Tucson Show Adventure ~ Gail Spann Style, I use the opportunity to beg Gail to delight us again in Tucson 2014 with their luminous reportages.
BTW, as mentioned here very soon FMF will be already migrated to a new server and then upload posts with many images will be fast as lightning!
Also, confirm that as in the last years the regular party will run on Thursday February 13, at Casa Vicente (reserved entirely for the party), and that we will try to prepare everything even better than in past years! ;-)

Season's Greetings to all from Tucson
There have been a couple of mentions of our (Megaw's) party on FMF recently.
Just want to get the word out that we have DISCONTINUED the party...when you get to having folks thanking you for and you never saw them it is too big.
We may reformulate it in the future at a smaller scale, but at least for 2014 we're in complete "recess"
30 years is long enough for any experiment
Look forward to seeing you all at the FMF party though!

Well! I guess I have never been there early enough, to be at the Inn Suites for the "opening" of people's rooms, to see a queue lined up waiting to get in!
Enjoy (and sell lots of specimens, Jordi!),
Pete
