Here’s three specimens from the Westward Look that really caught my eye.
these are presented one at a time as I keep getting a file too large flag then there is nothing I can do from there - VERY FRUSTRATING!
I noted that there are a lot fewer specimens in some of the rooms.

Still with no time I will summarize in three posts what happened at the Westward Look Mineral Show. When I'm at home in Barcelona I will publish some more thoughts concerning this Show.

Nevertheless only on Friday appeared, in the room of Chris Gobin, the main surprise of this Show and one of the main novelties of the whole Tucson Show. The Djurleites-Chalcocites from Aït Ahmane, Morocco.
We saw a few in the past, but the fact that now, after careful studies, they were proved the Djurleite-Chalcocite intergrowth and that its quality is outstanding (crystals until 7-8 cm!) it makes of this long-term new discovery (them were mined during the last two years) something really special.

Locality: | Aït Ahmane, Agdz, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco | |

A super cool fluorite poking out from what looks like a mottramite matrix. The mottramite seems to have covered the fluorite and removed to the base of the fluorite. Cabinet size. Seen at Open Adit at the HTCC. Pretty cool specimen

An unexpected stop at the Jewel Tunnel La Fuente new satellite and discovered that Michael Hollonbeck of Blue Sky Minerals had a small tent for himself selling his global specimens but with a very strong content of Mexican specimens, the majority keystone. Good bargains for the bargain hunters.
Mike has some of the better newly dug azurite from Sierra Rica in Chihuahua that i have seen at the show and with good prices. Plus a nice variety from the closed localities of Naica and San Martin and other localities. I bought a nice stibnite from San Martin.
