Hi all,
i already posted this on mindat but maybe here are some more experts for spanish minerals:
got this one recently at Krantz, Bonn, originally from an old german collection. The beautiful old label says Spain, Huelva Province but i can´t read the name of the mine.
It starts with Grube (mine) Risco "anything". It looks like the samples i found in 1989 at Soloviejo, near Rio Tinto.
has anyone an idea, or knows the mine mentioned on the label?
Help is really appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
cheers
Roger

Roger,
I placed your request in the Spanish Forum and for the meantime the answer is that the name is "Risco Baco", Alosno, Huelva: https://www.foro-minerales.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=10891#10891
Risco Baco is a geographical name for a place where these mines were operating:
San Ambrosio Mine (working in 1866)
El Justo Mine (working in 1869)
El Olvido Mine (working in 1869)
El Sol Mine (working in 1871)
Resurrección Mine (working in 1886)
Atala Mine (working in 1895)
Hopefully it helps.
