No mineralogical news this year in Tucson?
Or maybe there are so many that not enough time to publish them in the forum?
Those who can not attend Tucson would be happy to have some more information of Tucson shows.
What happens Enrique is that Tucson Show is a crazy Show, and the intensity here is so strong that everybody does what he can do.
There are now 4:42 AM when I'm writing this text, one of my helpers suffered a serious spider bite and his arm now is like a colorful inflated hot dog and in our room 164 we have a bullet hole from an old shot with an impact in a light and a second bullet hole in the bathroom wall. What I say is that here is the Wild West, many times you have not good Internet connections or not time at all to write chronicles. Add to this that many people is not here yet (please remember that is a 3-4 weeks Show)
I'm sure that everything will be done: much more photos, comments, and the list of novelties, but except if someone take care personally of it as Matt Zukowski did the past year (he is not here this time) these news will appear but maybe not "on live" but when the people have the chance to return to their homes having there more time and better Internet connections.
One of the reason I left Tucson Show as a exhibitor is the insufferable pressure which you should do everything, you should do it right now and you should do it in a perfect way. We are humans and Tucson Show is very close to be an inhuman Show ;-)

Tucson 02/04/2016
One of the peculiarities of Tucson Show is the infinite number of venues. There are for everywhere and recently was started a new mode which few dealers generate a few days Show in some new spaces, sometimes close to the Convention Center but sometimes even far, and this creates an atmosphere of incredible hyper-activity.

Was hanging out in Jordi's room and couldn't miss this jeremejevite - best I've ever seen - gemmy throughout and interesting termination. More eye candy to follow.

Something to keep ourselves entertained while waiting for customers during the mid-week doldrums at the sales room. The tune is called "Sunshine" and is a schottische composed by French hurdy-gurdy player Gregory Jolivet.Given the recent improvement in the weather here, it seemed appropriate!

Just a quick note to explain that the Internet connection in the Tucson Hotels is becoming worse and worst, even in the nicest and more expensive Hotels.
That could be a good reason for the less number of posts published this year. Even Gail in the Westward Look has a lot of difficulties to do it...
I'm sure that at the return of the FMFers to their homes we will see a lot of inputs. They will be not "on live" but they will be great! ;-)

Continuing the idea that I proposed last year (My 10 favorites of the Main Show of Tucson 2015) here are my 10 favorite specimens of the show cases of the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show® (Main Show) 2016
They are not the best, not the worst, they are just the ones that for one reason or another were the most interesting for me ;-)
Sorry for the quality of the photos. Them were quick taken by Jordi Deusedes and as we have not too much time I published them "as they are". When we come back to Barcelona we will improve them and we will publish them again.
