I'm trying to start the thread of Louisiana but I haven't photos of any mineral from there.

We have contacted Barb Dutrow and she very kindly offered to help when the thread is running, but to begin it we need at least one photo. Can someone in this forum please send to me via pm a picture of some mineral from Louisiana in order to start the thread for that state?

Hmmm... I don't have any from Louisiana.
The state mineral is agate and the state fossil and rock are both petrified palmwood.

Thanks to everybody. I received superb photos from Pete Richards (thanks Pete), so the affaire is fixed, I will start the thread today or tomorrow.

Tracy, please add your petrified palm slab to the thread when you come back. Same for everybody with Louisiana mineral's images! (when the thread starts)
